STEP 1: Align a Firehead against the side of the Firebait to make sure the correct size has been selected. The hook point should protrude well clear of the body and should sit as far back as possible without impeding the tail action. |

STEP 2: Place your finger as a guide where the hook point should protrude from the body of the Firebait, then insert the hook into the centre of the head of the lure, about a third of the way down from the top. |

STEP 3: Slowly feed the plastic around the bend of the hook, ensuring the hook remains centred in the plastic at all times. Continue until the hook point reaches the point you have marked with your finger. |

STEP 4: Push the hook point through the top of the Firebait, then carefully slide the plastic along the shank until the head rests against the head of the hook. The hook point should be centred and the plastic should sit straight. |
