The Shrimp Bug is designed to imitate a number of creatures that inhabit estuary and freshwater locations. It is especially good for imitating Bass Yabbies, Shrimps and Crabs and has proven deadly on Southern Black and Yellowfin Bream, Whiting, Perch, Bass and Trout. The Shrimp Bug is best worked in a small hop retrieve with pauses of around 20 seconds between hops. A handy hint is to fish the bait with as light a jighead as possible.
